Note the new roof extensions at each peak end of the roof.
You can see that there was no overhang at the
south peak
or
north peak
of the main roof, or at the
peak of the bedroom roof
until we
added them
with the new roof.

Now you can start to see why cutting the brick flush with the windows
was a problem.
We're going to end up with new siding instead of old brick for a
few inches on that wall.
