We just drove through Grand Teton National Park.  Now having root beer float at Dairy Queen in Jackson Hole.  On to Salt Lake City area for the night!

We passed Bear Lake (on the Idaho/Utah border) on the way from Grand Teton to Salt Lake City.  Probably the bluest lake I've ever seen.

Just left Carlsbad Caverns...heading to Dallas.  Trip log shows 4000 miles since we left home.

You cannot see them real clearly, but the pic is of a windfarm in western Texas.  For probably 60 miles around Abilene, this was the most common site.  Confirms what I've heard about Texas being the biggest producer of wind energy in the U.S.  I'd love to hear Dad's comments, since he headed up (founded?) GE's wind energy division back in the 70s.  I understand that they are a big player in this area now.
