Organizer notes:
A national day of protest.
Trump wants to scare Americans with a military parade in DC.
Cement his power and become king.
We're ignoring him.
Going EVERYWHERE else to steal his thunder.
Over 2,100 rallies all over the US to stop Trump/Musk.
Attend one in your hometown, or the HUGE one in Philly.
Keep it peaceful.
Sheer number of unhappy voters is what matters to politicians.
Police will be on-site to keep the peace.
In all major cities across the country, plus lots of smaller towns.

My notes
Things are really coming to a head.
Trump's doing everything
he can to incite riots so he can declare martial law and become
king.
Attend a "No Kings" protest rally this Saturday June 14.
We need to end this, before it's too late, via massive numbers
of peaceful protestors showing their disapproval of what
Trump's doing.
Bring the kids!
Make it a family outing!
Lots of colorful signs
and funny costumes.
History in the making.
Tell your
grandkids someday that YOU WERE THERE!
Why?
The day he took office, Trump immediately declared a "state of
emergency" to give himself more power.
He's now using ICE,
the National Guard and the MARINES to attack, arrest and beat
peaceful protesters.
It's all illegal, but no one's stopped him.
He's trying to goad them into fighting back so he can claim
there's a violent insurrection and justify declaring martial law
to suppress it.
If he succeeds, we all
lose ALL of our rights, and he can do anything he wants.
Forever.
Game over!
NOW is the time to end it, through massive peaceful protests.
We need a LOT of people to just show up and be counted,
milling around with protest signs, chanting, parading (with a
permit), smiling and waving at passing cars, etc.
NOT doing
anything that he could claim is illegal, violent or destructive.
Trump has cowed a lot of Senators, Reps, and even Judges.
They fear that he'll get them voted out of office.
Worse, that
he'll arrest them on trumped up charges.
Or that he'll send
violent thugs to attack and kill their families.
Recently, any
Senator, Rep, or Judge who stands up to him gets a visit to
their home by a "pizza delivery guy" to say "I know where you
live".
This has GOT TO STOP!
NOW!!
What to do?
The best way to end it is to show the Senators, Reps and Judges
that a HUGE number of voters are on their side.
The ONLY thing
that matters at a protest rally is the NUMBER of people who were
concerned enough to show up.
It doesn't matter what your sign
says, or if you even carry a sign.
Doesn't matter what you look
like, what you wear, whether you chant or stay silent., etc.
JUST SHOW UP!
Once the Senators, Reps and Judges see the massive show of
support, they'll stop being afraid.
Stop doing what he orders
them to do.
They'll rein him in, limit his powers, maybe even
impeach, convict and jail him.
They all hate him anyhow.
They're just feeling alone and afraid.
When and Where?
The big day is this Saturday, June 14.
Trump is having his
military parade in DC, with lots of tanks and guns and such.
All to look powerful, and to scare anyone who dares oppose
him.
Spending $45 MILLION of taxpayer money to help
cement his power and become king.
But the little people have had enough and are rising up.
With
no millionaires or billionaires to back them.
Just small groups
of volunteers working with their family, friends and neighbors.
Gathering at neighborhood rallies and protests in growing
numbers.
Many carrying their own handmade sign or banner.
Organized by word of mouth and social media.
Paying their
minimal expenses with lots of small donations.
On Saturday, there will be about 2,000 No Kings rallies, in
2,000 separate towns and cities.
In all 50 US states, plus 13
other countries.
Everywhere EXCEPT Washington DC.
How?
We're going to completely ignore his parade.
Peacefully gather
everywhere else in MASSIVE numbers to show our disapproval.
Come out and join us!
Attend a rally in your hometown, or one
of the HUGE rallies in all the major cities: Philly, Atlanta, Chicago,
Houston, Phoenix, Charlotte, etc.
Philly is the "anchor city",
expecting 80,000-100,000 people.
Ideally, go to Philly or some other big city, so that the numbers
there dwarf Trump's crowd in DC.
Otherwise, I'm sure there's a
rally near your house.
Within 10-20 miles of my house, there
are 7 different rallies: West Chester, Media, Springfield, Ardmore,
Havertown, King of Prussia, Norristown.
Each will be hundreds or
thousands of people.
Nationwide, there will be at least 5 MILLION.
In the Philly area, and probably everywhere else, there will be
extra trains and buses running.
All the news organizations will
report the MILLIONS of people at the No Kings rallies.
I hope
they also report the FAR MORE attendees at some of the larger
single rallies like Philly than at Trump's parade in DC.
Or better
yet, they totally forget to even mention his pitiful and irrelevant
parade.
Or use a headline that says "What if you threw a parade
and nobody came?"
BTW, don't worry about the trains being too crowded, or too
much traffic on the roads.
If so many people want to go to the
rally that the roads and trains are overwhelmed, even better!
Will make it all that much more newsworthy!
I'd love to see national news footage from helicopters showing
massive traffic jams.
And reporting that more trains had to be
added to the schedule, but they still had to skip lots of stations
because they were already full.
All due to an event organized by
volunteers and paid for by small donors.
While meanwhile in DC it was small crowds and "business as
usual".
At an event that cost US taxpayers over $45 MILLION!
Trump would be mortified!
And all the Senators, Reps and Judges
would see his support fading, so they'd dare to stand up to him.
I'll be there!
Personally, I'll be in Philly, acting as one of over 100 marshals.
Wearing a vest, answering questions, helping to organize the
crowd, giving directions, handing out water bottles, keeping
things calm and fun.
Want to be a marshal?
I've never done it
before, but there are training sessions and it seems pretty easy.
See YOU there?
Here's the map of rallies:
You can zoom in to see all of the individual rallies.
Sign up here to attend the Philly rally, so they know how many
people are coming and can be sure to have enough water
bottles, porta-potties, etc.
We'll be gathering in LOVE Park at noon, then march down the
Ben Franklin Parkway (closed for the day) to the Rocky steps of
the Art Museum till 3pm.
Lots of celebrities, artists, performers,
speakers.
Don't miss it!
What is a rally like?
I've been to a few smaller rallies over the past several weeks.
They've all gone off exactly as planned.
Hundreds or thousands
of friendly enthusiastic protesters, carrying signs and chatting
about what they don't like about Trump.
Thousands of friendly drivers passing by, beeping in support,
waving and cheering.
People wandering around handing out free
flyers, stickers, buttons, etc.
Restaurants giving out free food.
A real party atmosphere.
And all in a good cause!
Very occasionally, a Trump fan may drive by, scowling and looking
uncomfortable.
Usually no counter-protesters at all.
I'd have been perfectly comfortable bringing kids, or even babies
in strollers.
A fun, exciting outing.
Lots of people with colorful
signs, some in colorful outfits.
Make it a family outing!
Give
your kids a chance to see democracy in action.
Tell your grandkids
someday that YOU WERE THERE when history was made.
Can't walk/stand that much?
Can't walk the 1 mile march from LOVE park to the Rocky steps?
No worries!
There will be several huge video walls showing the
speakers, performers, etc.
And a few rows of seats in front of
each video wall, in case you need to sit down.
Bus from King of Prussia
There are buses to the Philly rally from the King Of Prussia mall.
$25 to arrive in Philly just before the rally and leave just after.
No parking, no traffic, etc.
Reserve your seat here:
How effective are these rallies?
For the past few weeks, I've been attending small rallies outside
the Tesla dealership in Devon and outside the Tesla-owned
collision/repair shop in King of Prussia.
Recently, we noticed
that both locations are JAMMED with cars.
At the collision
center, there are so many Teslas that they've overflowed the
asphalt and are parking on the grass.
The cars have no license
plates, no body damage, but DO have new car stickers in the
windows.
They're all NEW Teslas.
Fresh from the factory.
No
one's buying them because they despise Musk and DOGE.
All
of the factory and dealership lots are full to overflowing.
Tesla
has to pile them up somewhere.
The rallies and boycott are
WORKING!
See the 1st two slides
here.
Like pictures?
Here are
slideshows
of all the rallies I've been to.
And a
collection
of hundreds of unique hand-made signs I've
seen at the rallies:

Trump wants to be king.
Push Congress aside, levy taxes/tariffs, arrest judges, disappear
people, incite riots, declare martial law,
threaten allies, declare war, cut Social Security and Medicare,
destroy our government, rake in his profits.
We need to stand up and stop him.
Tomorrow may be too late!

Wow!!!
That's a LOT of rallies!
Over 2,100 rallies with 5-10 MILLION protesters.
Which one
did you attend?
I was in Philly with 100,000 people
in the rain.
The flood of people just kept
coming and coming,
for over an hour.
Here's a great
drone video
of the river of people flowing along, splitting at Logan Circle,
rejoining, splitting again at Eakins Oval, re-joining, etc.
Shows what a huge number of people it was.
And here's a
time lapse video
of the entire march route.
Also from NBC 10, here are
assorted other videos
-- unfortunately, each with a 30-second ad :-(
Numbers are still coming in, but at last count, per
Wikipedia,
other cities had:

Good point!
Train teachers to carry guns and fight off terrorists.
And then expect them to quietly let ICE terrorize qnd kidnap their students?
Somebody didn't think that one through.
Doh!

Note the
huge mural
painted on the ground in Eakins Oval.
When I was scouting the march route on Friday, I talked to local
Philly artist Saladeen of King SaLADeEN Artworks and Nathaniel of
Mural Arts Philly.
It's fenced off since there's wet paint on the whole parking area.
A huge mural for a year, before the next annual mural gets
painted (13 years so far).
A very colorful Teddy Bear playing basketball.
Looks great!
Their grand opening is at a festival next weekend, with food,
music, etc.
Check it out!
Should be a great time!
But, bad timing for the No Kings rally.
Took a huge chunk out of our parade route and rally area at the
base of the Rocky Steps.
People cooperated -- no one hopped the fence and walked on the paint.

|
The only police action I saw all day.
A woman collapsed and they quickly and efficiently showed up with
water, a medic and a wheelchair.
100,000 protesters and not a single incident of violence, or need
for police intervention.
But Trump claims we were "rioting"?!?!
Wants to send in the marines?
Declare martial law to suppress the "insurrection"?

|
2025-06-14_13.30.28_HandmaidsTale.jpg
|
Several women were dressed in Handmaid's Tale outfits.
That's where Trump is trying to send them.
If you haven't already read it, check it out.
Scary book!

Yes, Trump should be verb, a nasty offensive verb, as in:
-
Don't TRUMP it up!
-
Don't TRUMP on me!
-
He TRUMPed all over it!
-
TRUMP you!
-
etc.
And a vile name to call someone:
And a derogatory adjective:
-
That's kind of TRUMPish, don't you think?
-
etc.
|
OK. Now
go back
and read all the words.
You know you want to!
